What to expect
The first session is a useful time to be able to ask any questions you have concerning how therapy works or questions for me specifically as a therapist. It is an opportunity to determine if therapy is the right option for you at this specific time in your life.
Much of the success of therapy hinges upon the relationship between the client and therapist. Therefore, getting to know one another and determining the "fit" between us is important in the first few sessions. My desire for you is that you are in an environment of comfort and safety as you go through the counselling process.
